SHARE THE WATER WITH SHOALS OF TROPICAL FISH
Cahuita is famous for its snorkeling! Our warm crystal clear water is home to living coral reefs teeming with marine life. Start the day by meeting your snorkel guide at our shop at 8:15 am. Get taken to the marina a short distance away, where you will be given equipment (snorkel, mask, flippers) and instructions to follow during your tour. A 20-minute boat ride into the national park will take you to Cahuita's most vibrant reefs. Here you will have the possibility to see a variety of marine animals including stingrays, turtles, many tropical fish, and octopuses. Enjoy a fruit snack at the Cahuita National Park point and finish your tour by taking the boat back to town, or enjoy a hike through the National Park to maximize your experience! WE SUPPLY: All Equipment, Certified Local Guide, Fresh Fruit Snack, Two Snorkeling Locations YOU BRING: Swimsuit and Towel, Change of Clothes, Sunscreen, Drinking Water Please note: - National Park entry is by separate donation. - This tour is dependant on the ocean conditions. High waves stirs up the sediment causing low visibility. If this is happening the tour will not be possible.
